Description
The breathtaking views over beautiful Lake Garda are truly magical from the Florida Residence; the blue of the lake merges into the subtle green of the surrounding hills, highlighting exquisite Garda Island, the impressive rock of Manerba and the pretty lakeside towns. High above is the magnificent peak of Monte Baldo, which slopes gently down towards the lake and the famous San Vigilio peninsula.
The Florida is a small and friendly residence hotel which is owned and run by the Cipani family, who have been hoteliers since 1956. The hotel is set in the Lake Garda natural park and surrounded by 6 hectares of olive groves that which are still cultivated using traditional methods. Citrus fruits are another great passion in this area, lemons, mandarins, oranges and grapefruits are all grown in lemon groves made of stone and wood, just as in times gone by.
Set among bougainvillea, oleanders and colourful geraniums are a fantastic panoramic swimming pool and a small children’s pool. There is also a spacious terrace for sunbathing and games in the form of outdoor giant chess, table tennis and a barbecue for guest’s use. For those who enjoy good food, evenings can be spent sampling some delicious local specialities. We will happily recommend and reserve some lovely romantic lakeside restaurants or cheerful trattorias hidden up in the hills. A holiday with us means tradition, cordiality, relaxation and complete independence. |
