| Padenghe sul Garda is situated quite close to Desenzano in the western part of the Region Valtenesi. |

Above the town resides a beautiful medieval castle build of large white stones with three characteristic towers and an unforgettable view over the Lake Garda. In the 14th century resides a garrison of the Veneto Republic inside the fortress.
Hotels, Apartments and a handful of camping sites can be found along the waterfront. Padenghe has also a conference centre and a modern harbour.
