In the old city centre a lot of elegant shops, restaurants and bars invite you for strolling around or take a walk on the longest walkway of the Lake Garda. Take your time to taste the well know local cuisine with fish specialities. There are very good restaurants around the lake side. Every Saturday a markt is held in the morning.
Salò offers you lot varieties of sport like windsurfing, rowing, yachting, fishing, tennis and many more. Excursions can be made to the neighbourhood towns and a ferry ships to the mayor towns of Lake Garda from March to October. You can reach Bressia, Riva or Desenzano with public transport.
