Some more villages belong to the community of Toscolano – Maderno: Cecina, Cabiana, Folino, Gaino, Maclino, Vigole, Sanico, Roina, and Bezzuglio. They were joined together in a single municipality in 1928.
Both in Maderno and in Toscolano the squares offer many important artistic proofs. Toscolano was an very important seat of paper factories and paper mills. You can choose from a great variety of Hotels and beautiful camping sites along the shore.
A ferry service for cars, busses and passengers connect the west with the east side of the lake.
