Gara della Cuccagna - Bardolino
The traditional competition in tree trunk balancing "Gara della Cuccagna" will take place on 8 July 2019 in the port of Bardolino.
The competition is a real spectacle. The aim is to balance on a slippery tree trunk over Lake Garda to a pennant attached at the end. This is anything but easy and fun because of the fat spread on the trunk. By the way, the pennant must not be let go when falling into the water.
The tree trunk is 12 meters long and has a diameter of 35 cm. While the first round always takes place without a start, the rules for the following attempts are determined by the president of the jury.
