Art fair ArtVerona - Verona

ArtVerona celebrates 15 years of continuous growth from October 11 to 13, 2019, which has led to the acquisition of a significant role in today's world and in the European exhibition system.

 The ArtVerona formula is that of an intimate and cultivated event that bases its attractiveness on the quality of the proposal, on its relational vocation and on the territorial context, shaping its future thanks to the constant attention and involvement of the most developed realities as a basis for its growth. Under the direction of Adriana Polveroni, Artistic Director for three years, ArtVerona is consolidating its position in the spirit of continuity and innovation.

140 galleries are selected to better define the specificity of the two pavilions: one with a clear tendency towards the context of post-war historicised artists, the other to contemporary artists of the younger generation.

There are two main areas in which it will be possible to exhibit: the main section, which houses the masters, the middle-aged artists and some young proposals, in a continuous dialogue between modernity and the present. And the research and experimentation area, a large research area that includes: the raw zone, 8 spaces for exhibitions only by young emerging artists; Scouting, 16 research spaces for more structured project proposals with a maximum of 3 artists, Grand Tour, 6 spaces for foreign galleries based in Italy or with Italian artists or Italian galleries abroad; Focus on, a collective of young galleries from a host country, and finally i10 - Independent Spaces, a format for 14 public spaces.

The extensive programme of acquisitions, competitions and awards to support the various players in the network has been renewed. Among its strengths is Level 0, the opportunity to connect the artist and the gallery representing him with an Italian museum (14 people who joined in 2018), with an increasing commitment to the improvement and visibility of the selected artist.

In order to satisfy an ever-increasing number of collectors (more than 500 who were hospitable in 2018), ArtVerona has set itself the goal of building an even more attractive VIP program, promoting events and opportunities to experience and discover the beauty of Verona, with a major event that will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the fair.
