The craft bike Transalp is a mountain bike race for several days. The 600 km long race leads the participants over the Alps. From Oberammergau in Bavaria to Riva del Garda at Lake Garda. The bikers have to climb an altitude of 18,000 meters.

The Craft bike Transalp is one of the hardest mountain bike races over the Alps. The race always starts in a city in Upper Bavaria (Füssen, Mittenwald or Oberammergau) and ends in Riva del Garda ta Lake Garda. The stages and the stopovers differ every year.

Last year more than 1200 bikers from over 40 countries took part in the race. The bikers start in teams of two. During the race they pass a breath-taking alpine panorama and rest in beautiful villages with good fare. After a long and exhausting race they finally reach Riva del Garda where the victory ceremony is held.
