The Rock Master Festival is an internationally known climbing event in Arco. The town is located only a few kilometers away from the northern shore of Lake Garda. The festival offers a week with many competitions in different climbing disciplines.

The Rock Master Festival has been staged in Arco since 1977. The festival is one of the reasons why the town became one of the rock climbing capitals in Europe. Another reasons are the mild temperatures and the tremendous infrastructure for climbers.

During the Rock Master Festival a large climbing stadium is installed in Arco. That’s where most of the competitions take place. But Arco is also involved in the festival. The entire area situated between River Sarca and Monte Colodri will be transformed into a massive area for outdoor activities and climbing for everyone.

The main event of the festival is the Rock Master. It is a climbing contest hold in the three disciplines Lead, Boulder, Speed and Duel climbing. Each of this disciplines has its own challenges for the participants and is exciting to watch. Another event is the Rock Junior. This is a competition for young talents under 14.

Besides the competitions there is an entertainment program in the evening. Concerts, shows and much more.
